Guidelines for Communication
Hey Dons! Communication is a vital part of any clan. Clan chat can easily become hectic and inefficient if it is not managed properly, especially during times of war. So here are a few guidelines that will help keep it running smoothly at all times.
First and foremost, basic conversation etiquette should be maintained at all times during chat. When two or more members are having a serious conversation do not interrupt with unrelated matters, such as: replays, asking for someone to rate your base, or anything else of this nature. If you are part of the conversation, or have something to add, please speak up. Preferably, do not leave a serious conversation, but if you must be sure to excuse yourself and state the reason for why you are doing so.
During war, lower-half members commonly request guidance from upper-tier members. When a lower (or any) member asks a question, the responding member should explicitly include the name of the inquiring member. This represents that the responding member will take care of that question and any further questions that member will have.
A similar system can also be followed when several new recruits join at once. When a Don greets the new members the Don should include their name. This signifies the Don "claiming" that new recruit. The said Don will then run through several key points with the new recruit which will be explained in detail later. When a new recruit has been claimed by a Don, other Dons should standby and wait for more recruits. After a recruit has been "claimed" the Don should make sure to hit several key points with the new recruit,1) They should make sure the recruit knows to always keep their Clan Castle full. 2) The Recruit should be taken through the basics of our war scheme 3) Lastly, and most importantly the recruit needs to be aware of how important communication is to our clan.
The communication strategies I have explained above should always be practiced to ensure our chat runs smoothly and that we can efficiently convey messages to the clan. Thanks for reading.
