The Dons War Plan
Plan A
The theory behind Plan A is that we want to have the strongest attacks remaining at the end of war; therefore, we use the weakest attacks first. The weakest attackers can only attack the weakest people, so we find ourselves attacking bottom up.
For example: In a 25 on 25 war, 25 attacks his equal, number 25 on the enemy team, immediately when war begins. He will then train as fast as possible to attack again.
Everyone else please watch, cheer for your team mates, and be patient; your turn is coming. The clan builds comradery this way.
We will continue hitting bottom up. Don't attack until the person below you hits, and then you attack the lowest person not 3 starred.
The short version of this strategy reads like this:
1. Be on Clan chat 5 minutes before war starts.
2. Our lowest man attacks the lowest base on the enemy side first and immediately.
3. Do not attack until the person right below you attacks.
4. Attack the lowest person not 3 starred.
5. Retrain and use your second attack as soon as your troops are trained.
Everyone above you is waiting for you to attack, so failure to follow these rules affects everyone above you.
Plan B
Plan B is a variation of Plan A. History shows us that people are not always able to be on five minutes early. We also find people who are on early leave because it isn't their turn, and they do not show up when it is their turn, and so we end up stalling.
This problem led us to find a solution which we refer to simply as Plan B. The idea behind Plan B is to get the lower half of the map to attack 3 down from their assigned base number immediately when
war begins.
The only snag in this plan is that 23-25 would not have targets that are 3 below them. To overcome this issue, when war begins, bases 23-25 attack their equal, what we call a bases mirror. At this point, a Don will either call for specific attacks or call for everyone on the bottom half of the map to hit three down.
Please talk to a Don to determine your second target. If you did very well on your first hit, you may be able to hit up. If your first target proved difficult, you will be asked to hit down. If the bases around you have all been destroyed, you will be allowed to hit for loot.
The first attacks in Plan B should be complete within the first 15 minutes of war. The second attacks
should all be complete within 20 or so minutes from the time it takes to retrain troops.
At this point, we revert to plan A. If your base falls in the top half of the map, you are expected to follow the plan. Failure to follow the plan hurts the clan in many ways. I will discuss this more in another entry.
Thank you,
Don Quixote
